San Nicola entrance
The single-nave interior is dotted with shallow side chapels.
The nave is covered with a barrel vault, the presbytery is covered with a cross vault.
The canvas of the main altar depicts a Madonna with child and Saint Nicholas of which the author is unknown.
Among the other paintings preserved in the church we remember a nineteenth-century copy of the Crucifixion by Van Dick of unknown paternity.
- Rocco, pilgrim par excellence, after having renounced his possessions to donate to the poor, he began to take care of the sick by performing many miracles of healing. The iconography often depicts him with a dog and a stick.
- Emidio protector of earthquakes, he wants her to protect his city Ascoli, in 1703, from a violent earthquake.

Altar Church of San Nicola with Madonna del Rosario

On the first altar on the right there is the statue of the Madonna del Rosario which is placed on the main altar and carried in procession through the streets of Caiazzo on the first Sunday of October.
Since 2011, the church also houses the relics (a piece of the cloak and gloves) of St. Pio of Pietrelcina placed next to a statue of the friar on an electronic votive candlestick placed before the confessional room of the church.
