The Church of San Nicola de Figulis
The church was once flanked by the Monastery of SS. Conception that in 1647 became cloistered; the parish was transferred to the church of S.Maria di Portanzia. Next we find the Chapel of the Brotherhood of the SS.Rosario erected in 1374 together with the Church of S.Maria in Portanzia from where on Good Friday there was a procession with the dThe Church is attested by parchments since the 13th century and owes the connotation ‘de figulis’ to the fact that most of the faithful were dedicated to the art of clay for the realization of the vases.
The eighteenth-century facade of the church is in Baroque style, with the portal in worked stoneead Christ.
